George J. Hochbrueckner
Hochbrueckner is a retired New York-born democratic politician who lives in Coram, NY. A native of Queens Borough, he served in the U.S. Navy as a technician in the aviation department after graduating from high school. After the Navy, he attended college and later trained as an engineer before joining politics.
Hochbrueckner was first elected to the New York State Assembly where he served 5 consecutive terms between 1975 and 1984. He vied for congress in 1986 and was elected as the representative of the 1st congressional district of New York, a title he would hold until 1995. Today Hochbrueckner holds a senior position at Nossaman LLP.
Tony Nese
Tony Nese is the stage name for Anthony Nese, a famous professional wrestler who currently performs on WWE’s 205 Live franchise. He was born in Rockville Centre Village in Nassau County but grew up in Coram, NY. Herring won the WBO junior lightweight title in May 2019 and successfully defended it later that year. As of November 2019, he had only lost two professional boxing matches out of a career total of 23.

Last but not least, Hall is a Manhattan-born rapper who traces his roots back to Coram. Also known by the stage name Biz Markie, Hall is also an actor, DJ, and comedian. The “Just a Friend” hit maker attended Patchogue Medford High School on Long Island. Due to his great contributions to the growth of hip hop music, Hall has in more than one occasion been branded the “Clown Prince of Hip Hop.”
